Stonebraker
Willie Alfred Stonebraker is buried at Black Walnut Cemetery. Willie died on February 13, 1864 at the age of 13 days. To date he is the only Stonebraker we have found at the cemetery. But Willie is not alone, his grandmother Eliza Bassett is there as is his uncle Cushman Bassett.
His parents Morris and Mary Frances (Timberlake) Stonebraker went on to have 8 other children, 7 of whom lived to be adults, married and had children of their own. In addition to Stonebraker, names of families Willie’s younger sisters married into include Robbins, Dotson, VanBurkleo, King and Gray.
If you know any Stonebrakers or descendants of these other families, we can connect them to Willie Alfred and share his story with them.
